My daughter was a counselor there for several summers, its a fantastic place and an amazing get away. Very therapeutic just being there. Joy is one of Gods earth angels.

It's sad to see something like this go away. Was there a reason for the retirement? I know most farms get passed down through the family and kids and all that. Idk it's just sad to see such an established farm just stop I guess u can call it.

Great video MP...love it when you bring us the special auctions and hearing the background. My father was a registered Holstein man and he attributes buying equipment and finding out the history/care on it, like buying cattle with a pedigree...some have better than others. These guys were top-notch operators. As being a fellow "fussy" guy myself (I too keep notebook records and write notes on equipment), the only thing I see that ya gotta watch is taking maintenance and care to that level, takes a lot of energy and can really wear you out mentally bc you always want things to work right and things "just so"; however, as we all know, equipment has it's quirks (especially ones w/ a lot of electronics).

I have five International tractors , built between 1970 and 1993 in the German factory. Type 423 ,644 , 745XL , 845XLA and 856XLA. Three of them with the perfect "XL" cabin. Between 9400 and 16600 problem-free hardworking hours on the clock. Stil fully operational on my farm High quality tractors ! Greetings from Holland.

This must have been a family tractor. Two family members bidding against each other .I see this all the time. The last time I saw this it was a Farmall 350 in fairly ruff shape. It bought over five grand. It was grandpa's tractor.
